Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. has broadened its climate data and analytics services to encompass physical and transition risk data for more than five million private companies worldwide. This enhancement allows for uniform climate risk assessment across major asset classes, including public and private equities, sovereign debt, municipal bonds, and mortgage-backed securities.
"Data gaps in private markets have long hindered comprehensive portfolio-level climate risk management," said Larry Lawrence, Head of ICE Climate. The integration of Dun & Bradstreet's private company data with ICE's geospatial intelligence platform delivers granular metrics on flood, wildfire, hurricane, and temperature risks alongside Scope 1-3 emissions analytics.
